  Final Destination 3 2006

  ★★★★ Rewatched 28 Mar 2025

  Final Destination 3 was the first one I ever watched — and it hooked me instantly.
  For multiple reasons: the amusement park opening (easily the most entertaining of the franchise), two of the best death scenes (the tanning beds and the nail gun), the clues hidden in the photos showing how they’d die, and the ending scene being another vision of the future.
  That’s what we want from this saga: creativity.

  The only film in the franchise that doesn’t revolve around a friend group.
  Which is interesting — but also a bit of a weakness.
  Luckily, Clear Waters came back… to die eventually.
