  Bored to tears, literally. Horrible pacing and filmmaking decisions. I don’t watch horror and this was not scary at all. Lazy and disrespectful messaging with Ellen. It doesn’t even commit to the cucking. Orlok and Thomas dead would’ve been a better tragedy. Unsexy defused bomb. But I gotta recognise the nightgown pooches.

  i would’ve completely given up on paul newman’s director filmography if it wasn’t for the title. wasn’t expecting to love this so much. kinda want this film to have a letterboxd renaissance. joanne woodward bitching, reading the ads section of the newspaper, calling effeminate men homos and beating the shit out of a degenerate antique shop owner… that’s mother to me. sorry ruth and matilda.
