The Zone of Interest 2023
Horrifying. Haunting. Chilling. The sounds of dying prisoners in the background as children play in the pool in a beautiful garden will stay with me. The cut directly to present day was surprising and gave me chills. I found myself pausing throughout and googling events that unfolded. No matter how much content exists, it’s always hard to grasp that this actually happened not that ago. If only humanity would learn from past atrocities. Free Palestine.
