  I love all the scenes of Beijing Hutongs. It’s a beautiful movie, also a small one. It’s like a well crafted PowerPoint with gorgeous background that has some really good and relatable ideas in bullet points, but I don’t think the director has put in much thought to unfold them or go beyond. So it’s kinda of somewhere between scratching the surface and almost having no point to tell.
