its a very, very average rom com but Simone Ashley is just that captivating that I can't say I disliked it. also the best friend was pretty good. this should've just been about them instead!

Stunningly dreamlike, with intimate characters and a backdrop of the complexity that is a big city where you can feel nameless. There’s a tenderness and slow vulnerability to the women in this, and their wants and dreams unfold in delicate ways. The blue-fused lighting and cinematography really convey the contrast between suffocation and hoping to break from the world’s constraints. Really something up my alley, I was transfixed by this!
