  Cassevetes, dfw, society of the spectacle referenced.
  Really uncomfortable viewing experience, I guess his relationship with himself is so nightmarish that even his mpdg is sick of him. The ice cream cups in the high school trash can really did open up a pit in my stomach. The usage of the musical theater memory/fantasy was really affecting. The slide of things ending in the pig really brought me back to synecdoche. I liked it but I don't want to see it again
