saw this at the Glasgow Film Theatre so there was a special atmosphere in the room, not mentioning the signs the cinema had put up outside so there was no forgetting that this was based on Alasdair Gray's book and originally! set! in! Glasgow! mind! you!
I do wonder what it would be like to see the film without having read the book first, because while this was funny, rich in visuals and sound, with the kind of whimsical art…
