If you’ve watched the trailer, you’ve seen the movie. They gave most of it away! Not scary, just violent in that silly way horror is trending towards. Was I entertained? Yes. Was this generic and ultimately forgettable? Also, yes. And Theo James is simply too good looking to be a convincible Stephen King fuck up leading man.

Sophie Thatcher really carries this one, and she’s definitely someone I want to see more of. I was entertained but annoyed that they felt the need to over explain the movie in the movie. Trust the audience to get it, this movie isn’t that smart or complicated! Also Rupert Friend’s accent is bad but I was kind of delighted by him anyway.
