a feminist shadowrun twilight space opera final fantasy isekai, this movie is not well paced at all but it rules.

channing tatum and mila kunis are solid but eddie redmayne is putting up an efficient 30-10 as divorced tech ceo palpatine. sean bean and tuppence middleton are contributing key minutes off the bench

Easy to see how influential this satire/critique of Hollywood’s racism and stereotypes is.

Funny and dated. Some of the sketches work better than others, and even some of the better ones overstay their welcome. Needed less gay punchlines.

This was funny to watch right after Burn After Reading. More than a few similarities, but the characters and situations in this felt a lot more real despite only being slightly less of a ridiculous fiasco.

The rare movie I wish was longer. Could've been an all timer if it had a little it more to it, a little more character work, a little more connective tissue, and a little more writing of the hard stuff. As written the script…

My first non Lebowski Coen Brothers...

Comedy of errors about a bunch of mush heads making increasingly unhinged *decisions* which bounce off each other like pool balls and create an ever expanding fiasco.

Tight script. Often dry like wine but occasionally dry like saltines. Pretty fun over all.
