Evil Does Not Exist 2023
Firstly the good, some great nood ASMR and cabin core aesthetics.
Film is too on the nose and slowly paced in the worst possible way where it felt like a slog even for a relatively short film.
Didn’t hit any emotional beats and has some bizarre scenes that feels like it’s lifted out of another movie.
Even Greta Thunberg would have a difficult time liking this movie, probably.

Simple story that is executed perfectly with so many subtle moments and the film ends wonderfully.
No exorbitant sets or grandiose situations which grounds the film and gives it an element of realism like you’re watching something familiar.
