What a Girl Wants 2003
This movie is the most superficial representation of what it means to be American. Yeah that’s right, I'm getting political. The thing that makes this movie so bas got to be the acting and dialogue. Some of the conversations in this film make absolutely no sense. Pair this with some of the worst performances you can get out of a teen actor, you have a 90 minute slog fest. However, this film manages to sneak its way into the “so bad it’s good” category, so some enjoyment can be extracted from watching this. However I have 0 need to see this again.

Snowtown 2011
Uneasy, sick and repulsed, these are just a few emotions I endured while watching this movie. Snowtown is the tragic story of a 16 year old lower class boy from rural Adelaide. While enduring the worst of the worst and constantly being sexually assaulted, Jamie’s mum acquires a new boyfriend who completely changed his world.
Whilst the pacing can be inconsistent, and the motive of some characters a little obscured, I was entertained. A nice thriller, but boy oh boy did it make me weak in the knees.
If you feel like feeling uncomfortable, give this one a watch.
