For many years now I have been asked my favorite movie and been forced by years of nostalgia and awkward teenage interaction to say Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
That ended on January 17th, 2025, when I saw my favorite biopic ever put to screen. I love everything about it more than I can put down here and it got me watching Walk the Line (didn't realize they'd both had the same director) and anything else I could get my hands on based in the period. Holy shit what a monument to storytelling but also to guys who are like "omg he's just like me!"
