I am a huge fan of Bong’s work and I can’t wait for his Horror film.
But this movie was a mess. And it pains me to say it because I’d been waiting a long time to see Mickey 17.
They all can’t be phenomenal. :shrug:
One star for originality, certainly was an interesting premise.

A movie about the multiverse that references two films - Sliding Doors and Back to the Future and I loved it for it (when Irene references Sliding Doors to Mia and she says “what the fuck is that?!” - LOLZ - I chuckled but no one else did which makes me think I’m the only one in the theater who saw the cheeeeze Gwenyth Paltrow-does-English-accent multiverse film multiple times… so sue…
The story went nowhere, it didn’t even fully explore the many dysfunctional relationships or situations. Not one of the many threads was resolved. The acting was terrible across the board and not because that’s how it was scripted… the music/score was comically dramatic, as were the shots and pacing of the dialogue I don’t think we have enough…. Hot dogs.
The title treatments were great. So 1/2 star for that. Overall a big groan from me, fully wish I’d just…
