Damn, this is the most fun I've had with a slasher since watching Stitches for the first time back in September. I'm usually quite critical of the genre, since so many film makers exploit it to get away with being downright lazy. But, despite its poor marketing, Kolobos transcends its surface level description.
Kolobos is a cold-blooded, psychologically charged slasher with a simple premise and claustrophobic setting. This flick has such a malevolent aura with its nightmarish imagery, creepy sound design and disquieting psychological undercurrents.
