The movie was very visually appealing, and I applaud it for that. But movies that tend to go with the tearjerker method sometimes fail to realize how much it takes for a viewer to care for the cast. The movie was already short as is so there's that, but the movie doesn't give you much of a reason to care for the main characters. Much less what may happen to them or whether or not they succeed.
