  I saw this in theaters when it came out and it’s one of those movies that the marketing was just terribly wrong on. The film is a slow burn tightly crafted story of how mistrust and misfortune can bring about the end of a family. It’s bleak and miserable and there are moments of ferocity and brutality that are incomprehensible. If you’re a fan of having your heart ripped out and feeling all hope is lost then this is the movie for you.

  The only down side of this movie is that I didn’t see it in 4D so I could feel Tom Cruise hitting me in the chest with each pounce of his gazelle legs.
