Watching this last night and realizing that it was the extended cut. I'll be honest--those deleted scenes were taken out for a reason. They feel a bit drawn out compared to the VHS cut that I watched damn near daily in the summer growing up.

Godzilla: Final Wars 2004
One of the dumber Godzilla movies, but still one of the best. This film never fails to compromise on how silly it is, from the commander who speaks only in English to the mix of 2000s CG and practical effects that surprisingly work well in tandem. Glad I decided to watch this for my birthday (I share the same birthday as Godzilla).
