    I spent half an hour writing a review and it deleted itself.
    TLDR: apparently on the nose but deeper societal analyses (and calls to action) lie beneath. Funny, zany and bleak. Brilliant cast, Rob Patto can do no wrong.

    Didn't do the disjointed piecemeal reveal as well as pulp fiction and I think that's because it just didn't have as interesting a story to tell. That being said, some moments were very good and the lead nailed it. A fun watch overall.

    My theory re: the narrative of The Room is that Tommy had a similar experience IRL and was so slighted by it he wanted to make a movie about how amazing he is, to guilt his ex-lover. If this is the case it'd make it pretty much the world's most expensive "this is Tommy's mum, he just killed himself, I hope you're happy".

    Triple G my goat

    I thought this movie was just about the best thing ever when I watched it as a 10 year old, first rewatch since and while the animation is suuuper dated, the comedy isn't (for the most part). Still holds up. Patrick Warburton (aka Kronk) gives it a good crack. If my kids don't like this movie I'll give them up for adoption. Also the person in charge of music cooked - the soundtrack actually rules.
