Please don’t tell fourteen year old me who just walked out of Endgame firmly believing it was the best thing to ever happen to him that Sam’s first Captain America movie wasn’t good, he’d probably kill himself. Carl Lumbly is innocent though, he’s perfect as Isaiah. Harrison Ford was great, too. Oh and fuck that zionist hag.

My Babysitter's a Vampire 2010
Actually the peak of shitty 2010s preteen shows. Watching this whole franchise when I was literally five was one of my biggest pieces of gateway horror so I have so much nostalgia for it: not even close to being an objective rating.

Blue Christmas 2017
A short yet stunning look in to how people deal with mental health, especially in the British 1960s when the topic was a misunderstood taboo. It looks gorgeous, is edited very well, and uses music effectively alongside a solid sense of humour, great acting, and an immersive story despite little happening. I cannot wait for Charlotte Wells’ next project. A new favourite director of mine.

Army of the Dead 2021
Sometimes it’s a little too dumb, and some of the script had some pretty weak moments, but Snyder’s own great cinematography, a cool ensemble cast, fantastic action, an awesome score and a one or two decent scares and thrills paired with a new take on the zombie genre make Army of the Dead an absolute blast, though those two and a half hours felt like they dragged, and it’s fucking incredible that this was done on a 90,000,000 dollar budget.
