  Just as much a teen comedy as it is a superhero film, this is the first time a feature-length has gotten the character of Peter Parker right. He's smart, confused, and out to prove himself in a world of established heroes. 

  I want to take away points because there's no big "wow" moment, but that in itself feels like a deliberate choice. The triumphs of overcoming hurdles like asking a girl out or clowning your bully feel just as important as saving the day. 

  Also, 70s funk daddy Donald Glover is in it and that's an automatic 4 stars.
