Punch-Drunk Love 2002
Honestly just really good the entire way through. Soundtrack did exactly as intended, really made you feel how overwhelmed Barry can get. I don't mean to sound pretentious (but probably will anyway), but it's one of those films you can genuinely appreciate the different mediums being used to communicate in a really powerful way. It's actually really fucking clever and I admire this sort of thing a lot.
I also appreciate how I started out almost against Barry, thinking "what…

Blade Runner 2049 2017
This film gets a lot of flack for essentially just how different the style and interpretation of the Blade Runner world is from the original film. All Quiet on the Western Front 2022
A modern classic for me, I was left sitting there stunned for a good while. Strangers on a Train 1951
Never actually seen this before, was a blast. Dialogue really holds your interest, such a strange and interesting idea as well. If I really fucking hated someone, I'd probably arrange a criss-cross, shit is class.
Only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because the second act was a bit long in my opinion. ONLY A BIT, don't rape my cat for saying that. Just lost some interest after the conversation about legal proceedings and being a suspect/person of interest because the same conversation basically happens 3 times between different people. That's all. Shut the fuck up.
