Considering how much I could've related to this (falling in love at uni, becoming a long-distance relationship, dealing with the crippling uncertainty about the future after graduation), this ended up committing the mortal sin that dooms any romantic film of not producing a compelling relationship between the two main characters. Being a teenager is shit enough without your colleagues and teachers shaming you for the mortal sin of getting horny. Christians are the fucking worst.
