  So long and so dumb, the writing is so lazy; but there are a few instances of inspired action set-pieces (even if it's 80% CGI smh). Was this supposed to be part one of a two-part thing? The ending was really weird

  This movie is fucking insane; everything is heightened to the highest possible degree. Everyone was like "Movies are back" when this came out and I think people just had like collective brain damage from covid; this was not good lmao

  Barbie is, in my estimate, possibly the best big budget comedy to come out in a long time, I really enjoyed this. Fast on its feet and breezy, yet still poignant and moving. Incredible set production, it really looks like the toys come-to-life. I loved the dance numbers

  I was completely owned because I leaned over to my wife to explain the Matrix reference, and then later the movie made fun of dudes that explain movies to women lol; clean shot

  Fuck yea, this sticks the landing; I loved it. I've really come around on Timöetheée, I used to (unfairly) lump him into the "Skinny Teen Heartthrob" category with Tom Holland, but Dune 2 cements the fact he is light-years ahead of Holland in terms of acting ability. He was great in this; whenever he used The Voice I felt it and believed it. Zendaya is also pitch-perfect as Chani, the love story between her and Paul/Muad'Dib is one of the…
