  Perfect movie. Cinematography? Come on. That opening shot speaks for itself. Performances? Lily-Rose Depp was transcendent (and Willem Dafoe was Willem Dafoe). Also Skarsgaard was amazing I didn’t even recognize him. 

  I don’t even know there’s so much to say about this movie. It hurt. It was painful to watch. To see the visualization of this innate draw towards death and the lingering power it has over someone even after they have “overcome” their melancholy. Every reaction felt so real.…
