this movie was labeled as a black comedy, like a morbid comedy. i think i laughed like once at the beginning. idk maybe it’s different cultures and humors but this was just a devastating watch. and with this heavy subject matter, i feel like the movie should also be good, but it’s just not that great. it’s shot well, and i think Shula is a very interesting protagonist, and again incredibly heavy subject…

Death of a Unicorn 2025
Low-key kinda predictable, which is unfortunate for an A24 movie, but I got to go to an early screening so I got to see it for free. Fun kills, fun antagonists, great comedic performances, good messages. If this movie came out 10 years ago it would seem over the top, but today it feels just a little too real. Jenna Ortega at her most relatable and with probably the best hair I’ve seen on a movie character.
