  gracefully pivots from heartbreak to heartbreak, you’re thinking it’s going to be one or the other, like zooming out slowly from the bark of a tree to the tree itself. when the full tapestry reveals itself it broke my heart. when the light intensifies then passes completely in that final shot it brought tears to my eyes. I’ll think of brooke adams performance forever. easily one of my favorite first watches this year
