stanley kubrick turns nuclear annihilation into pure comedy, like genuinely so so hilarious. every performance is gold—peter sellars plays three roles flawlessly, george c. scott is hilariously unhinged, and slim pickens just rides the apocalypse. the satire is razor-sharp, the dialogue endlessly quotable, and the cold war paranoia feels way too real. it's absurd, it’s brilliant, and it only gets funnier as you watch. the perfect b&w comedy.
