What a riveting 1.5 hours.
Black Bag is Steven Soderbergh back to operating at a high level. The cast is outstanding, as one would expect with these names. I love me anything that involves Michael Fassbender being an obsessive-compulsive bad ass.
It makes my heart so happy to see Marisa Abela getting some good movie roles. An outstanding actress from one of my favorite shows (Industry)
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. Director Bong is one of one. An incredible ability to weave in poignant sociopolitical points within bombastic & outrageous story lines. Always keeping the audience at arms length snatching for answers. He’s special.
Mickey 17 is as Bong Joon-Ho as it is Robert Pattinson. Insanely good performances across the board from our 5 mains but Naomi Ackie…. WOW. Some line delivery that will go down in the history books.

I’m not a Godzilla person, in fact, I’ve only ever seen Godzilla Vs Kong and I hated it. But my word. Was this actually spectacular.
The last thing i was expecting was to full on ugly cry in the theatre to mf Godzilla…. But there I was. Wet glasses, sniffles, everything.
