  In the scene where Caesar just barges in on a naked Cleopatra, they manipulated the translation of "rumoresque senum severiorium/omnes unius aestimemus assis (and count the rumours of those old and stern/that worth just a penny)" to "without one thought of the gossip of virgins now grown old and stale" 🙄 R u fucking fr Hollywood fucking weirdos. (And in the same scene Caesar's like "oooh young man have you heard of the da mi basia mille deinde centum verse" yes bitch that's still Catullus 5)
