  Decent. I just feel like it was such a surface level film, none of the characters felt that they were developed enough other than maybe Joe. I have heard the book is amazing and would think this most definitely falls short. Decent sports film makes you feel good, but not what it could have been.

  The script is excellent and very well developed and is brought to life by amazing performances from Jared Leto and Mcconaughey. They fully commit to their roles truly embody their characters physically and mentally and are most definitely deserving of the awards they received for this movie. Director Jean Marc Valle has a clear vision and executes it very well with strong cinematography to go along with it. Overall, a very well made film.
