I personally found it a bit underwhelming. Hopkins, while one of my favorite actors, was not at the top of his game in this one. Gibson was a bit stiff, in estimation.
And the Vangelis soundtrack leaves a lot to be desired. While attempting to be subtle, his music sticks out like a sore thumb.
