Biggest surprise of the year. I had a blast.
Josh Hartnett is clearly having the time of his life and nobody can film a fight scene like Matt Flannery. Ends on a bit of a weak note but the movie is so fun up to that point that it doesn't matter.

It didn't really hit me until later that a passion project about the making of Citizen Kane, filmed in the style of Citizen Kane would have probably been a pretentious mess in the hands of a lesser filmmaker. Fincher and co knock it out of the park. Great performances all around and every frame is pure eye candy.

Love Hurts 2025
Some fun action (more wire-fu than I was expecting) and Ke Huy Quan is always good but this whole movie feels like it was ripped apart and reassembled several times in the editing room. Lots of awkward montages and ADR'd exposition.
