I honestly liked this movie more than I thought I would after seeing some other reviews.
I thought the CGI of dwarves and forest animals was great and they were able to portray emotions through both.
The songs were just okay, but lacked a lot of emotion and didn’t excite me. (Except for the introduction of the Dwarves and cleaning up their mess).
Gal Gadot needs to learn from the CGI on being emotional because why was she not threatening or villainous in any way…
Based on the trailers I thought this was going to be scarier. But after seeing it in the theater, I enjoyed the mixture of comedy and horror.
I don’t know why I thought the monkey had cymbals and not drums even though I saw the trailer at least 5 times 🥁
I also really enjoyed how the twins, young and old, were played by the same actor and had widely different personalities. Theo James did a great job in this film and I want to watch more of his stuff!
Better than what people were saying online, but I wish we saw more red hulk. Also the post credit scene could’ve been wayyyyy better
