  Relies on heavy handed shock value to keep you from realizing how boring and flimsy the plot is. Romanticizes journalism without caring to portray it accurately or with intrigue. Putting a dump truck of bodies on screen isn't impressive.

  Frustrating watch. Atmosphere is all there, but payoffs are few and far between. Too much time spent simmering in flashlight-lit rooms with a plot that doesn't have many places to go.

  More of a demo for an alien concept than anything. The plot is paper thin and indulgent at times, forcing in themes without payoff and other meaningless exercises like the dialog decision without justification. Should have been a short film.

  Furiosa stays tightly in bounds of the world building established in Fury Road, and never really creates an identity for itself. The end result is a smaller world more interested in exploring previous ideas than developing its own. The action and cast were top notch though.
