  Kinda full of misogynistic tropes 👎🏻 but spending 20 years writing a novel just to mess with my ex's head because she broke my heart is something I personally would love to do so please take this 3 stars in the name of revenge

  It’s a beautiful story beautifully told. This could be just another movie about a brilliant woman struggling in a male dominated environment to prove her value. Of course misogyny is a theme in “Nise” but, happily, it does not make the mistake of letting the main character’s (hi)story be summed up to the fact that she is a woman.
