Dune: Part Two 2024
saw this in imax and it was genuinely incredible. Having disliked the first film for reasons of slow pacing and an uneventful plot, I had low expectations for the sequel but boy was i wrong

Part one was the strongest. Supernatural themes are an overdone trope and this film had far more potential had it remained grounded and taken inspiration from a movie like Se7en. Ultimately, still enjoyable and I can appreciate it.
Nick Cage is hilarious and often cut the tension with his standard antics but I loved every second of it 🐐
