  Writing this review from my seat at Alamo Drafthouse, credits rolling as we speak. Had to put my thoughts to paper while it’s fresh.

  The longest video game cutscene I have ever seen, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire dares to ask the question, “what if King Kong went to the dentist and then became a single father?” 

  This movie has everything. Big gorillas. Smaller gorillas. Actors whose faces I recognize but names I can’t remember. But will that be enough to win it the Oscar?

  Only time will tell.
