  I love the concept of this sooo much and the fact that this movie exists, but for me it's a little to over stylized and forcibly over the top for me to be able to take any of the dramatic moments seriously

  these oscar bait musical biopics are usually overwhelmingly fast paced because they have so much to cover. but they dont try to cover all of bob dylan's career in this, just a couple years. so the movie feels very slow, which i think is awesome and really refreshing.

  i feel like such an asshole for finding this movie boring. everyone i know whose seen this loves it so much. can someone tell me why? at what point did you give a fuck- i never did. is there something wrong with me? perhaps.
  like i really appreciate the concept of the narrative structure in this movie. a lot of the sequence of emotional payoff is done out of order. were kinda just thrusted into this guys life without formulaic…
