The Duchess seems to forget that Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire was a real person and was so interesting.
She was a highly political figure, her role in mobilising the vote and campaigning is sorely under-explored. The film should have been devoted to 3 years of her life such as her work campaigning with Charles Fox, rather than the really doggy passing we experienced instead.
