Reminds me of a Pynchon novel, for better and worse. It's messy and sometimes forward momentum just stops cold. But it's an interesting cockeyed vantage on American history, and the leads have soul.
The first half is gripping, but the second half is tedious. With all the camera swooping and circling, it begins to feel like a video game. The missions get monotonous after the third save point, and I wanted to skip through some of the cutscenes.
