After thinking more about this film I am more disheartened by it. In the first act, I found myself trying to see the deeper reason behind what I was watching but with each act, I was pulled more and more out of the film. Inside Out 2 2024
I guess me and my fellow film interns who are all 20-22 were the ideal demographic because we were more affected by this film than any of the other 12-15-year-olds in the theater. The movie had as cracking up, while also experiencing anxiety and A LOT of secondhand embarrassment. If anything this movie had us feeling all of the new emotions Riley was except boredom. And for that, I would say it was a success.
