  Watching the short film then this makes you appreciate all the professional (Jewish) actors. Rachel Sennott, on the other hand, is throwing fast balls in both.

  Gru is no longer compelling. This is a man who stole the moon, who was the greatest villain in the world, who went head to head with Vector and lived to tell the tale, and now he’s been neutered into an AVL bureaucrat. When Gru was a villain, it was interesting to see him as a family man. Call that juxtaposition. But now that he’s just a good guy, what am I supposed to be excited about?
