  Naoko Yamada just has such an impressive understanding of how humans act and the way we show our emotions. Not nearly as good as A Silent Voice, but this film is a great and heartfelt look into the life of teenagers who feel they’re being forced down the wrong path. I also wonder if the film is meant to showcase the experience of being on the autism spectrum, as I see a lot of traits of my autistic friends in the main character and the way she interacts with the world and people around her. Overall it’s a good film that I recommend a lot.
