  so good until the WORST ending i’ve ever seen. a survival movie that ends with giving up/the massive suffering of the protagonist makes zerooooo sense.

  they say that it’s not based on the Mary Kay Letourneau case but COME ON guys. the characters are replicas of the real people, they even re-did a real controversial interview. on top of all that, Letourneau is dead but Vili Fualaau is very much alive, did not consent to the movie, and JUST started realizing he was groomed. if it was actually fiction the movie would be watchable which is why i’m giving it a two but the ethics………really…
