  I think jesse eisenberg should’ve just stuck with writing and directing and hired a more talented actor to play the role of david. david had some very powerful monologues that didn’t hit quite right with jesse’s lackluster acting.

  This movie had what every other live action Disney movie to date has lacked: heart. The same heart and soul as the original, if not more. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Halle was STUNNING. Every time she sang I had the strongest goosebumps. I’ve never been the hugest Little Mermaid fan but this made me cry with nostalgia and just how good it was. i’ll never stop singing Halle praises, she is the perfect Ariel.
