It didn't strike me as much as it did the first time, I believe it was because I was watching it with friends, but man I still love this movie

The colours (despite the yellow piss filter used throughout 90% of the movie) completely baffle me, there are about 5 beautiful shots that will forever live in my mind and the chaos of the last 15mins makes me anxious just thinking about it

    My favourite Sean Baker

Hey I get all the grieving, making amends and letting go part of the movie, but it really did not grip me. The concept is really good, this take on zombies feels very natural, and the cinematography heightens everything. It's just that the story didnt touch me like the director probably thought it would. I was looking forward to this from when it was announced and maybe I shouldnt have expected so much...

What is this? My favourite christmas movie now? I never signed up for such an emotional roadtrip, no no no....
Had I not taken an (unexpected) break during the movie I would've cried, for sure. How could I ever expect any of this from the opening moments of the movie? How can it be so funny yet so heartbreaking? (And they're absolutely, undeniably, necessarily complementary aspects of the film!)
I have no words, this is near perfect...

Actually, no, I have one thing to say: YOU'RE TELLING ME THIS IS DOMINIC SESSA'S FIRST ROLE EVER!???!!?!?
