A bit of over acting by some of the male teachers which seemed unnecessary but a delightful if tear inducing story.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 2010
Going against the grain I thought this movie was all style with no substance. Now I wasn't expecting much to start with, nothing deep and meaningful, as it is a comic adaptation but I found it vacuous, predicable and completely unfunny. One star for some nice transitions and type treatments.

The only horror movie I really love. The tension between the hilarity of over the top gore and the stomach turning mayhem is brilliant. There's always a moment in this film when most people give in and turn from cringing to encouraging the blood splattering. For me it was the moment an ear fell in the porridge and was obliviously devoured.
