  Having recently rewatched Black Beauty, I realized the reason that film has stuck with me so much (aside from the obviously horse-girlness) is because of all of the tender, emotional moments in close-up. And that’s exactly what this film is.
  It highlights in fine detail all the textures and sounds that activate all our senses. It felt very reminiscent of my own experiences just staring at the ceiling, restructuring my own space and reimagining the world in a different perspective.…
