an interesting movie that i think would have been incredibly more interesting with the inclusion of non-white and queer people. wanting to live as another person considered more “normal” so you could get the same opportunities speaks to a LOT of minorities and then this movie is just… white men and 1 (one) white woman (bonus appearance from a black man i guess) … well. the movie was still ok i suppose

alright, close enough. welcome back jason voorhees!!!!!
anyways a genuinely good slasher movie . kind of tedious but purposely so. i adore the ending, the waiting for him to show up again. where they stop in the car and she stares out into the forest, waiting for him to show up... the reveal that all of this could have been avoided had johnny just gotten the necklace earlier. REALLY good direction . loved the sound design . when johnny is just solely focused on killing colt(?) and it focuses on the girl, terrified. just an excellent slasher movie
