Barbie 2023
First off, the audience response surrounding this movie, was unlike anything I’ve seen before. Theaters were filled with people wearing pink. I saw a grown lady in a handmade Barbie flight attendant uniform. It was phenomenal, a definite break from the norm, like I went to comic con.
In all honesty, my reaction after watching this movie was not jubilation nor frustration, but merely a subdued contemplative state.
